On July 2, 2023, Valdeblore, just 1h30 from our gites www.locations-06.fr, hosted a great party: LA FÊTE DE LA TRANSHUMANCE.
The herds of goats and sheep set off from afar, guided by shepherds and volunteers, through hamlets and villages to reach Valdeblore.
Valdeblore was abuzz with activity that day. Young and old accompanied the herd to the hamlet of Saint Dalmas.
The hamlet’s meadow was the setting for a splendid festival featuring some 70 exhibitors of all kinds: craftsmen, ice-cream parlors, association stands, livestock breeders, and more. And there was our TERROIR-06 stand.
The Valdeblore Transhumance Festival
Indeed, at this lovely rural festival, where numerous volunteers were busy grilling and tending bar in an infectious good mood, Guilhem CODERA was on hand to offer his delicious natural products.
Guilhem CODERA of www.terroir-06.fr grows and processes olives, citrus fruits and aromatic and medicinal plants.
To the delight of young and old alike, he delighted everyone with his rose and orange blossom confits, candied clementines, verbena and orange blossom syrups, olive oils, cookies, jams and more. In short, there was something for every taste and budget, and always products free from preservatives, chemicals, colorants and artificial flavoring. Only natural and local products.
