Le Cannet revolves around boulevard Carnot, a lively thoroughfare with elegant Belle-Époque and Art-Deco mansions and a pretty old town center, hidden behind the Hôtel Le Grande-Bretagne.
Its small, colorful streets are lined with delicatessens, art galleries, small boutiques, artisans, flowers and stores attracting a population that likes to live quietly, enjoying a drink on a terrace.
There’s also the very interesting Bonnard Museum, featuring works by post-impressionist painter Pierre Bonnard.
