Visit to the Gardens of the International Perfume Museum (MIP), in Mouans-Sartoux

Visit to the Museum Gardens

Born in 2007 under the name of “Bastide du Perfumer”, the Gardens of the International Perfume Museum, or for short “les Jardins du MIP” is a conservatory of perfume plants from the Pays Grassois. In this 2.7 hectare conservatory garden, nestled at the foot of the olive and cypress hills of the town of Mouans-Sartoux, perfume plants and scented plants flourish in accordance with ancestral agricultural know-how.
We like to walk there and each visit, depending on the month and the time, discover a new plant, a new flower under a new prism.
We particularly like its roses (centifolias, Damascus, etc.), its lavenders, its Germanica or Florence irises, its olive trees, its jasmines, its water lilies, its sages, etc….Most of the plants present are used in the aromas and perfumes industry of Grasse and all of them bear witness to the richness of the agricultural territory of the Pays de Grasse.
