Bussana Vecchia (Old Bussana) is a beautiful village just east of San Remo in Liguria, some 30 km from the border between France and Italy, which became a ghost town in 1887 after an earthquake.

It is attached to the town of San Remo, in the province of Imperia, in Italy’s north-western Liguria region.

One of Italy’s most beautiful villages, it now has just 60 inhabitants, mainly artists of all kinds.

The beauty of this village lies in its countless vaulted ceilings and stone architecture.
