Perched on the mountainside at an altitude of 800 meters, the village of Tende is located in the Roya valley. The pretty village of Tende, with its narrow streets, is the final French stopover before the Italian Piedmont. Above it, the Col de Tende rises to 1871 metres. In this dizzying setting, Tende is also the natural border of the Mercantour National Park and the Vallée des Merveilles, making it an ideal playground for hikers.
Note cultural visits such as the beautiful museums: the Vallo Alpino museum and museum of wonders and the Mercantour house, without forgetting the very beautiful Notre Dame de l’Assomption collegiate church.
