France\u201d.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9d636d9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9d636d9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>It is located 15 minutes by car from our rental-06 g\u00eetes or 1 hour 30 minutes&#8217; walk along the <strong>wonderful Chemin du Paradis hiking trail<\/strong>.<br \/>\nGourdon has less than 200 inhabitants all year round.  <\/p>\n<p>As &#8220;Provence Web&#8221; says, <strong>going to Gourdon is already quite an adventure<\/strong> because you have to go there via a road that goes up and where there are many turns.<br \/>\nBut once at the top, Gourdon is majestic, perched at an altitude of 760 meters.<br \/>\nAs if clinging to the cliffs, it dominates the <strong>Gorges du Loup<\/strong> valley.<br \/>\nWhen we look at Gourdon, we first see an imposing castle built from the 9<sup>th<\/sup> to the 17<sup>th<\/sup> century surrounded by gardens designed by <strong>Le Notre<\/strong>, then the bell tower of the 12<sup>th<\/sup> century Romanesque church and finally well-preserved old houses which all stand sets.   <\/p>\n<p>When we arrive in Gourdon, nicknamed the <strong>eagle&#8217;s nest of the C\u00f4te d&#8217;Azur<\/strong>, we marvel at the beauty of the village, then we are charmed by the view of its <strong>Proven\u00e7al houses<\/strong> and its <strong>authentic charm<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThen, we discover a multitude of artisans who seem to have been there forever.<br \/>\nMy selection?<br \/>\nAll the shops of the <strong>Balembois family<\/strong> which since the creation of the company in 1956 has specialized in the <strong>art of crystal<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThen, the <strong>Gourdonnais gourmand<\/strong>, (rental partner-06: 10% discount on your purchases) and which in my opinion makes the best <strong>gingerbread <\/strong> I know, then the <strong>Source Parfum\u00e9e<\/strong>, managed by <strong>Mme Roux-Gallimard<\/strong>. <strong>Ste Catherine grocery<\/strong> store hidden in a little nook where we enjoy syrups, preserves, flavored mustards, all homemade (partner of locations-06: 10% discount on your purchases).<\/p>\n<p>And finally, we will finish with the restaurant &#8220;<strong>les Grands Hommes<\/strong>&#8220;, run by a cousin of Mme Roux (partner of locations-06: free coffees), which will delight you.<br \/>\nFrom Place Victoria, the view is fantastic over the coastline and the bay of Cannes and you can see as far as <strong>Corsica <\/strong> through reflection.<br \/>\nWe can see the entire <strong>coast<\/strong>, the <strong>Riviera <\/strong> in front of us with breadth and depth, <strong>the sea and the sky<\/strong> then to the left, Nice, the Baie des Anges and Antibes.  <\/p>\n<p>Below us, the <strong>mule track<\/strong> of paradise and a rock that we call &#8220;the grougne&#8221;, the hamlet of Pont du Loup with the remains of the bridge destroyed at the end of the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> World War and the building of the <strong>Florian confectionery<\/strong> (partner of locations-06: 10% discount on your purchases and free visit). On the right the Sarr\u00e9e plateau, and below the <strong>picturesque village of Bar sur Loup<\/strong>. have been visiting since my childhood.<br \/>\nThis village is magical.<br \/>\nIn certain places in the village such as the station area, you can see <strong>lauves<\/strong> which are rare geological formations in the Alpes-Maritimes.   <\/p>\n<p>This charming medieval village is worth a visit.<br \/>\nIt is located 8 km from the famous <strong>St Paul de Vence<\/strong> and 10 km from <strong>Bar sur Loup<\/strong>.<br \/>\nFrom the village, there is a superb view of the sea in the distance and the surrounding vegetation.<br \/>\nA natural belvedere surrounded by prickly pear trees which grow naturally, this site fortified in the 11<sup>th<\/sup> century has houses which form a form of rampart and which surround the main square and its church.   <\/p>\n<p>We like to visit Tourrettes by taking the <strong>Grand&#8217;rue<\/strong> which forms a sort of central half-moon artery. In this street, we discover many <strong>artists and craftsmen<\/strong> (Ex: <strong>Poterie Tournesol <\/strong> (partner of locations-06).
