This period of illness, viruses, fears and uncertainties means that now, a few months later, we want freedoms<\/strong>, joys<\/strong>, vacations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The C\u00f4te d’Azur remains and will always remain a very popular holiday destination due to its many assets.<\/h2>\n

And this year, this summer, we French people will certainly not have the freedom to go on holiday abroad because it will most likely be forbidden to us.
So, if we are going to stay in France, we might as well go to superb destinations where we will be sure to enjoy a good holiday<\/strong>. Furthermore, going to France<\/strong> means acting as an eco-citizen and responsible actor<\/strong> by supporting the economy of our country,<\/strong> and therefore, …, ourselves!<\/p>\n

But then, you ask me, what can we do on the C\u00f4te d’Azur?
\nWhat will our vacation be like! <\/p>\n

This summer, in the Alpes-Maritimes<\/strong>, you can already enjoy weather with blue skies and guaranteed mild temperatures<\/strong>. Imagine yourself in one of the deckchairs of one of our gites locations-06<\/strong>, sunbathing in the sun, a glass of orangeade.
Then, you can go for beautiful walks and hikes<\/strong>. Around our gites, there are a multitude of hikes and we have the label “compagnon de route<\/strong>“, because, in particular, we are located less than 1 km from the GR51.
One of the most popular walks for our vacationers is to do the Chemin du Paradis<\/strong>: It is a climb from Bar sur Loup<\/strong> to Gourdon<\/strong>, a village classified as “most beautiful village in France<\/strong>“. During this climb, you will be able to appreciate superb panoramas, on an almost vertical relief where cliffs and steep projections succeed one another wooded with pubescent oaks. There are many other walks of all levels and very different depending on whether you choose the seaside <\/strong>and the customs path<\/strong>, for example in Nice <\/strong>or Antibes<\/strong>, … . The Middle Country, where our locations-06 lodges<\/strong> are located, where you can evolve between nature and perched villages<\/strong>. Or the Haut-Pays where you can walk to the ski resorts of the Southern Alps and walk on the roof of the Alpes Maritimes, … Il y a le choix.<\/p>\n

During your holidays on the C\u00f4te d’Azur, you can do all the sports you like, … .<\/h2>\n

Why not rent an electrically assisted bike through our partner Tourrent bike<\/strong>. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric will deliver the bikes directly to the g\u00eete and can even add a GPS. He can also organize guided bike tours where you will discover the charms of the Alpes-Maritimes located very close to your cottage.
In sports, you can play tennis, golf, water sports and why not go free flying with our partner Skywalk’air 06<\/strong> which will make you gain a lot of height! In short, you will be spoiled for choice.
In addition, during your vacation, you can go to the sea. My little corner of paradise is the river.
\nJust 300 meters on foot from our lodgings, you will go swimming in the Loup, a pretty little river and above all, a calm and shady place.
\nThe palette of colors and greens is superb.
\nThe dragonflies play, the little fish amaze us and our dogs cool off when the children have fun building ponds with the pebbles. <\/p>\n

In short, I’m stopping because otherwise 99% of the population will want to come and on the C\u00f4te d’Azur, it’s not mass tourism but quality tourism<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

So of course, we will be careful. Masks, distances, barrier gestures, …. But it is at this price that we will have a great vacation<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

As a foodie, I recommend that you enjoy a good pan-bagnat during a picnic<\/strong>, some pissaladi\u00e8re <\/strong>and a good ros\u00e9<\/strong> (our partner Mr. Bertaina from the Domaine St Joseph in Tourrettes sur Loup makes an excellent organic one). The “Cuisine Nissarde” label is awarded each year to restaurants that are keen to help you discover the specialties of Nice and its region (stew, farcis ni\u00e7ois, panisses, chard pie, etc.). Personally, I like to go buy fresh pasta or ravioli in Chateauneuf de Grasse from a small artisan whose name I will give you or in old Nice at Maison Barale. Still in old Nice, don’t hesitate to go and get some specialties at the famous triperie on Place Saint Fran\u00e7ois, … And gently, my guilty pleasures are: the fougassette from the Venturini family in Grasse which is said to be the best in the region (a rental-06 partner), the ice creams from Papilla in Chateauneuf de Grasse, and in particular their latest creation : orange blossom ice cream. And I also like to enjoy a sweet tea with Mme Thouzalin’s honey, produced at Bar sur Loup.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
